2017 Conference

Floor Plans for the Conference

The U.S.-Mexico Bar Association will be hosting our annual conference in San Diego, CA from September 27th to 29th, 2017. This conference gathers professionals in the judicial system from all parts of the North American Region. For three days, legal professionals will be networking and learning about the evolving relationship between the U.S. and Mexico during the current political climate. Download the conference mini-brochure to invite your colleagues.

Whether you are new to USMBA and our annual conference or you have joined us in years past, you definitely won't want to miss the 2017 event!

What to expect this year

Dedicated Networking
This year we are partnering with Network Tables to provide you more opportunity to network with colleagues. Soon, all attendees will be notified that they can choose their own seat at a hosted network table. There will be time devoted in the program for you to network with a table of your choosing. You'll be able to leave the conference with contact information for those you meet!

Writing Competition (Click the button above to learn more)
After the conference, we will be announcing the winners of our first writing competition for a chance to win up to $3,000! The USMBA extends an invitation to university students, professors, lawyers and other professionals who are citizens or permanent legal residents residing in Mexico or in the U.S. to write an original article on  “Enhancing North American Trade”, and include one or more specific proposals to revise NAFTA generally or any particular parts or regulations thereof for the purpose of improving the framework for cross-border trade, explaining how such proposal(s) would be beneficial to the U.S. and/or Mexico.
