The mission of the Health Law Committee is to encourage, support and promote interest in all aspects of international health law through the USMBA, particularly as it relates to the cross-border integration of health care between the United States and Mexico. The committee will seek to assist health lawyers in both countries understand the other’s laws, regulations and traditions as they relate to health care and as provided through hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care providers. The committee will identify issues affecting health law, collaborate with academic, private and governmental organizations involved with transnational health issues, and create or collaborate in presentations of continuing legal education programs on common health law issues.
