The U.S.-Mexico Bar Association will present its 2014 Annual Conference in Mexico City September 29 (with evening reception at Basham) through October 1 marking the 20th Anniversary of the organization’s founding. The 2014 Conference will build on the success of the Conference held in Phoenix in October 2013 which was attended by lawyers, judges and others from throughout Mexico and the U.S. Topics of current interest will be presented in Panels composed of distinguished participants from both countries.
The 2014 Conference will be held at the upscale JW Marriott Hotel in the very safe and attractive Polanco area of Mexico City, with its renowned museums, restaurants and shops, located adjacent to world famous Chapultapec Park.
Topics will cover the range of current legal and business opportunities involving the two countries. Panels will feature the top experts in their field from Mexico and the U.S. Topics will include hot topics and current issues in the areas of real estate, customs, labor, energy, finance, immigration, litigation, ADR, taxation, family law, compliance issues, anti-trust and other topics of current interest.
The Conference begins on a Monday evening so as to encourage attendees and their families to enjoy the weekend in and around Mexico City, one of the world’s great and exciting cities.
Opportunities for sponsorships will be offered, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, with public recognition and valuable perks.
